The writing of Graydon Jones
I’ve always loved science fiction; the classics like Star Trek and Star Wars are what I grew up with. Recently I have been enjoying harder Science Fiction. In particular, The Expanse, The Martian, Another Life, and The Midnight sky.
With my latest writing, I want to create something similar. Not necessarily the full-blown (and brilliant) numbers and slide rules of Andy Weir’s novel, Project Hail Mary, but a physics‑aware story built on pressure, consequence, and the simple fact that space doesn’t care if you live or die.
Brightstar is about humanity spreading across the Solar System — and the warning that arrives from deep space.
